The protein and fat content has been significantly reduced and adapted to the needs of these dogs. A high proportion of raw fibre ensures that the dog’s weight is maintained or reduced and that he is appropriately satiated. The protein compound L-carnitine, which occurs naturally in meat, additionally helps to burn off fat.
